چکیده
Abstract Identifying milk biomarkers impacted by dietary starch and fiber profiles can support optimization of feeding concurrent promotion animal health. The objective this study was to characterize the rumen meta-proteome whey proteome in Holstein cows fed different levels physically effective undigestible NDF (peuNDF240) fermentable (RFS). Eight ruminally cannulated were included a 4 x Latin square design with four 28-day periods. From study, samples collected from each period receiving one two treatments: 1) low peuNDF240, high RFS (LNHR) or 2) (HNLR). Rumen fluid at end three timepoints, snap-frozen, stored -800C. microbial proteins isolated, quantified, isobarically labeled, analyzed LC-MS/MS. acquired product ion spectra searched against 71 composite databases cattle database, respectively. Data using PROC MIXED procedure SAS 9.4. Of 130 rumen-associated identified across 22 species, abundances 13 diet eight species. Six these associated core metabolism. Among 159 quantified proteins, 17 diet. Many host defense, nutrient synthesis, transportation. abundance CD14 lactadherin less LNHR (P < 0.05), whereas Prostaglandin-H2 D-isomerase lipoprotein lipase greater 0.05). Our results indicate higher concentration has influence on than profile highlight potential use as indicative nutrition.

Effect of direct-fed microbials on performance, diet digestibility, and rumen characteristics of Holstein dairy cows.
The objective of this study was to determine the effect of feeding direct-fed microbial (DFM) products containing Lactobacillus acidophilus and Propionibacteria freudenreichii on the performance, nutrient digestibility, and rumen fermentation of Holstein dairy cows in midlactation. Experiments were conducted from February to May 2003. Cows were fed 1 of 3 dietary treatments: 1) 1 x 10(9) colony...

Changes of milk fat, crude protein, true protein, NPN and protein:fat ratio in Holstein cows fed a high concentrate diet from early to late lactation
Percentages and yields of fat, crude protein (CP), true protein (TP) and non-protein nitrogen (NPN) wereassessed in milk of four groups of Holstein cows, at early, mid and late lactation (days in milk 20-70, 71-110, 111-150 and 151-210), on a diet rich in concentrates during a hot summer. Four milk samples were taken from individual cows at 10-day intervals. Milk fat percentages were close to b...
متن کاملAmylase addition increases starch ruminal digestion in first-lactation cows fed high and low starch diets.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of an exogenous amylase preparation on digestion of low- and high-starch diets in dairy cattle. Rumen and total-tract nutrient digestibility were measured in a 4×4 Latin square design with 28-d periods using 4 first-lactation cows cannulated at the rumen and duodenum. Corn silage-based diets had 20 or 30% starch, attained by changing the co...

The objective of the present study was to determine the effect of substitution of corn grain with dried citrus pulp (DCP) on milk composition, fatty acids profiles and blood metabolites in Holstein dairy cows. These parameters were measured in a replicated 4 × 4 latin square design experiment using eight Holstein cows. Each experimental period lasted 4 weeks. The four treatments were: control (...
